*Vacation Bibe School

    At Florissant Church we love the opportunity to minister to children.  Like many other churches across the nation we take advantage of the summer free time the children in our communities have by offering five days filled with Friends, Crafts, Food and Games but most importantly we teach them about who they are in God's eyes. 
  *Audio/Video Team Our Audio and video team volunteers add a great service to our worship time.  From controlling the sound system to providing great worship backgrounds and videos for our digitally projected screen they are must have volunteers.   B-4 Praise BandOur praise band leads worship for us during our morning worship experiences.  From vocalists, lead, bass and rythm guitarists, drummers, keyboardists we appreciate all of our volunteers and are constantly looking more talent to expand this ministry.                                         

*Circle of Friends

Senior Fellowship Ministry

The Circle Of Friends ministers to those in the church through a monthly devotion, fellowship and potluck lunch.  This fellowship ministry was begun for those who are seniors but they encourage others to come and join them no matter what their age.

*Womens Missionary society

Missionary support ministry

The Florissant Women's Missions Society is part of the denomination's women's mission and ministry program. This is an organization for equipping women to involve themselves in missions and ministries. The Florissant WMS helps to sponsor national and international missionaries through our offerings and fund raisers which help provide for the expense of a national women's office and contributes to both International and National Missions.

*Community Outreach 

Hands-On servant Evangelism

The Community Outreach Ministry is one way we seek to be the body of Christ sharing His love.  Many times we as churches are good at conveying the message that Christ Jesus loves them but this is one way our church has to show people that love in a practical way.   We serve through finding a basic need some group of people have and meeting it for free like handing out Hot chocolate & scotch tape around Christmas time; raking leaves and cleaning gutters around Fall as well as washing cars and cleaning bathrooms all refusing to take money because what Christ has done for us cannot be repaid.

*Nursing Home Ministry

Sunday morning bible classes

Several people in our church over the years have responded to the spiritual needs of those that find themselves in the care of a local nursing home.  There are a few faithful workers who take Biblical sunday school lessons and a good dose of God's love to a local nursing home every Sunday morning.  This is a ministry that is constantly needed across the nation but is all too often neglected so praise the Lord for those who follow God's calling to this great but rewarding task.
