Hi, As a christian pastor I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is always relevant but in today's world a relevant church is hard to come by.  Now I'm not saying that we have it all figured out but I sure hope that we're getting closer every day.  Each Sunday as I look out at the congregation and new faces catch my eye I not only see the people that Jesus so loves but I catch a glimpse of God's plan being fulfilled.  God's written word tells us about the Lord Jesus Christ and that he " wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth." (1Timothy 2:4 NLT)  I share this desire with my Lord and so does the congregation of the Florissant Church. 

     As new people attend our services through each week I know that they are not here by chance or coincidence but that God has drawn them here.  I also know that inside them somewhere is a need and a desire to further understand the truth God offers to everyone.  I was there once, but that same desire keeps me coming back for more even after serving the Lord for over sixteen years.

Pastor's Interests & hobbies

Pastor Kevin loves to play cars with Dawson, have thumb war contests with Hannah, watch as Claire learns new things and enjoys going on dates with his wife Erin. 

His Hobbies:

• Playing Electric Bass and Rythm Guitar
• Tinkering with automobiles
• Playing in UNO tournaments with Erin at her family's holiday celebrations

Who Are The Causeys?

Pastor Kevin and Erin were married in June of 1996 and love each other greatly to this day.  They also love their three children Hannah, Dawson and Claire.  They originate from Heber Springs Arkansas. 

Pastor Kevin holds a Bachelors degree in Religious Studies from Oakland City University in Oakland City Indiana.  He answered God's call into the ministry out of the First General Baptist Church in Heber Springs Arkansas.  He pastored the Enon General Baptist Church in Princeton Indiana full time for five years before taking the pastorate of the Florissant Church in August of 2007.

Pastor Kevin has training as a Law Enforcement Chaplain and served as chaplain for the Gibson County Sheriff's Department in Indiana for two years and now serves as Chaplain for the Florissant City Police Department on a volunteer basis.

Erin has her Associate of Arts degree from Arkansas State University in Bee Bee Arkansas.  She has worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and as assistant to the Executive Secretary for the President of Oakland City University.  She is currently a very dedicated stay at home mom taking care of our youngest daughter and our son who has been diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome.

The Causey kids love school, playing with friends, childrens ministry, singing and playing music.

They all hope to have a long and prosperous ministry through out the world for Christ Jesus.
